Dear Friends of Woods,
Have you read the article from the Local and World Mission Ministry of Woods Church about “The 100 Hour Challenge”? Just in case you have not read it, here is a brief explanation. WAIT! Please keep reading this even if you already know about “The 100 Hour Challenge” because it is not just about the event.
The Ministry of Local and World Mission is encouraging everybody to become a more active participant in the life of Woods Church by sending out “The 100 Hour Challenge” to all of our members and friends to pledge to serve God through serving others in service, outreach and/or mission with Woods programs. How much time will you spend intentionally serving GOD? 100 hours per year is about 2 hours per week.
If you would like to spend two hours per week to participate in “The 100 Hour Challenge”, answer the questions below very carefully. You might find the perfect solution for you.
Do you put your God first before what you want to do?
Do you focus on the positive and being grateful rather than focusing on the negative and complain?
Do you sing while you take a shower?
Do your friends or family say “you have a nice voice” instead of “I think you are tone-deaf”?
If your answers are YES to those questions,
JOIN THE CHOIR BECAUSE IT IS A PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU.
The Adult Choir meets every Thursday for two hours from 7:15 to 9:15 pm.
· You will enjoy singing joyfully to glorify our Lord through wonderful and varied repertoire from Renaissance to newly written compositions.
· You will experience great team work, which requires everyone’s different voices working together to make one voice by humbly listening to each other.
· You will enjoy fellowship and spiritual growth, as well as learning musical skills and techniques in a fun and warm family-like atmosphere.
