Crop Walk
CROP WALK is a fall  opportunity for you to walk  the B & A Trail and help the hungry. This effort began after WWII when Midwest farmers sent surplus crops to war torn Europe. Today pledged support of walkers raises money for hunger relief, with 25% of the money remaining in our own community to address hunger needs through Serving People Across Neighborhoods (SPAN). The remaining 75% is directed into global relief efforts through Church World Service. Volunteers are needed to walk as well as to help with overall organization of this effort.  Watch Woods Chips for details or contact: Lee Laque.
