DISCIPLE I Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study.  A small-group Bible study designed to develop strong Christian leaders through regular in-depth study of Scripture.  This is a thirty-four week study of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, with daily preparation and weekly group sessions with the goal of developing biblically nourished persons committed to live as Disciples of Christ. 

 

DISCIPLE I study groups will move through the biblical story from Creation to the New Jerusalem. The titles of the sessions along with the theme words, theme verses, and major persons, events, and topics will fix the sequence of the biblical story in the minds of the participants. The principal Scripture for each session follows the chronological movement of the biblical story.  Completion of DISCIPLE I is a prerequisite to all other studies in the DISCIPLE program.
