Ministry to the Congregation
The Ministry to the Congregation provides care to those in need and opportunities for members to create and strengthen friendship bonds through small groups and social activities. The Deacons work to care for the sick, the hospitalized, the homebound, and the bereaved, through visits, cards, flowers, casseroles, etc. Social activities are provided to build community through various age levels: Family Enrichment Seminars, Hilltoppers, Woods Wids (Widows 'n Widowers Fellowship), Breadbreakers’ Dinners (for couples and singles) and other small groups that build community and a sense of belonging.
