Caring Connections is a group of volunteers from the congregation who give their time and talents to help others. All ages are invited to participate in this caring opportunity. People from Caring Connections provide the following:
* Transportation to doctor appointments
* Food preparation and/or delivery for the ill or bereaved
* Assist with funeral receptions at church
This caring opportunity is flexible with volunteers’ schedules and the time commitment is not a large one. Participants in Caring Connections are called on a sporadic basis as the need arises.
How will I be contacted when a need arises?
When a need is brought to our attention, we will send an e-mail to the group with more information on the need. If you can help, simply login to the Lotsa Helping Hands website and let us know you will be able to help.
To become a member of Lotsa Helping Hands CLICK HERE to begin. You will then enter your e-mail address under "Interested in Becoming a Member" and click continue. The next screen will ask you to enter your name, address, phone number and create a password. Your request to be a part of Woods Caring Connections will then be submitted.
If you have any questions, please contact Betty Butler at the church, 410-647-2550.
