Confirmation

  
 

The most important decision a young person can make is to commit themselves to Christ and to take up membership in Christ's Church through confirmation of the Baptismal vows made for them by their parents.  Through discussions, activities, skits, and small group interactions, our young people learn the basics of the faith and how we apply that faith to our lives.  Our Confirmation class begins in September and the class joins church on Pentecost in the Spring.  This class is open to any ninth grader.

 

Confirmation 2011 - 2012

 We encourage all 9th grade students to join the Confirmation Class of 2012. Confirmation Registration forms are available in the church office and on this web site (look in the side panel to the right).

Sept. 11 9-10:45 Open House (come anytime to get covenant & for ??s)

 
Sept. 18 9:30 Orientation w/ parents & confirmands
11:00 Attend worship and dedication
 
Oct. 1-2 1:00 Team Building w/ Terrapin Adventures @ Savage Mills & Lock-In at the church attend 8am worship
 
Oct. 30 9:30 Parents attend confirmation to meet elders & leaders
 
May4-6 Spring Retreat @ River Valley Ranch
 
May 16 Parent, Elder & Confirmand Conversation w/ Session
 
May 20 Confirmation
