Confirmation

The most important decision a young person can make is to commit themselves to Christ and to take up membership in Christ's Church through confirmation of the Baptismal vows made for them by their parents.  Through discussions, activities, skits, and small group interactions, our young people learn the basics of the faith and how we apply that faith to our lives.  Our Confirmation class begins in September and the class joins church on Pentecost in the Spring.  This class is open to any ninth grader.

Mandatory Attendance Dates

Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 7:00pm: Confirmation Orientation, for Confirmands and their parents in Fellowship Hall

KICK OFF SUNDAY, September 12, 2010: First Confirmation Class during the 9:30am service at the Severna Park Community Center

Friday, October 1, 2010 through Sunday, October 3, 2010: Confirmation Fall Retreat at River Valley Ranch
