Timely Topics

Our first topic will be: Important Changes to Your Will or Other Legal Documents You May have Made Without Realizing It! Elder John Strange, an attorney with Council, Baradel, Kosmerl & Nolan, P.A. will speak regarding documents we may have signed that invalidate our original plans. He will take legal question on trusts and other documents. Anne Arundel County is providing a Vital Records Portfolio for each household in attendance. This is for safekeeping in one place copies of all your types of insurance, military records, funeral arrangements, banking information, medical records etc. Please join us in Fellowship Hall on Monday, June 20, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. For more information contact Betty Butler.


Family Summer Choir

Have you ever wanted to sing with the adult choir but it's just not possible during the school/work year? Well, why not try Summer Choir! Summer Choir is open to everyone. We will meet Sunday's directly ofter the 9:30 a.m. service to rehearse for the following Sunday. First Summer Choir Rehearsal June 26 from 10:40 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. in the choir room. First Summer Choir Sunday July3, arrive by 8:45 a.m. in the choir room. (Note: no sumer choir rehearsal or Anthem on Sunday service July 24) Please email David Merrill with any questions. Vacation Bible School

Joseph's Journey form Prison to Palace, July 11 - 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We will be spending a while on the Nile as we journey back to ancient Egypt to learn about God's plan for Joseph (the guy with the colorful coat) and God's plan for us...without ever leaving Woods!


Woods' Music and Art Camp

Accept God's Call, Join us August 1 - 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as we act, dance and sing our way through the story of Jonah! This camp is for rising 2nd graders through rising 9th graders. It will be a fabulouse way to learn about god's persistent love and will provide each camper with the opportunity to help bring the story for life. Click here for more information.


Ronald McDonald House Dinner Program

Prepare and serve a dinner for 25-40 people who are guests of the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore. This is a great small group or family serving opportunity. It occurs the third Friday of each month. Please contact Dave Hilder with any questions. Click here to register online!
